Cricket in olympics
Following various campaigns started by many former and present cricket players, headed by Adam Gilchrist, the International Cricket Council finally decided to look over the possiblities of having cricket as an event in the Olympics. It must be noted that Cricket was played in only 1 edition of the Olympics so far, that too over 7 decades back. So, ICC President David Morgan looked over the issue and decided the 20-20 would be an ideal format that would fit in, the olympic schedule correctly. So, he has decided to speak regarding this issue with the Olympic committee and if the talks are successful, then w can see some cricketing action in Olympics but this is not before 2020. So, 20-20 will be a part of Olympics from 2020
