Cabbage Tomato Curry


Ingredients

  • 1 cabbage whole
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2 small tomatoes or 1 big
  • 1/2 ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds (jeera)
  • 2 1/2 tsp Cumin-Coriander powder (dhaniya-jeera powder)
  • Oil
  • Coriander
  • Salt.

Method

  • Cut the cabbage into small pieces.
  • Tomatoes should be cut finely into small pieces.
  • Take 1 tablespoon oil into a frying pan.
  • To this add Jeera seeds, mustard seeds, ginger garlic paste, turmeric and when they splutter add the onions and let them fry well.
  • Add cabbage to it and fry it nicely.
  • Add Water if required and let it cook well.
  • Then add the tomato, mix well.
  • Then add jeera-coriander powder and salt to it.
  • Leave it, to cook for a while.
  • Garnish this with coriander .
