- 1 cabbage whole
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 2 small tomatoes or 1 big
- 1/2 ginger garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds (jeera)
- 2 1/2 tsp Cumin-Coriander powder (dhaniya-jeera powder)
- Oil
- Coriander
- Salt.
Method
- Cut the cabbage into small pieces.
- Tomatoes should be cut finely into small pieces.
- Take 1 tablespoon oil into a frying pan.
- To this add Jeera seeds, mustard seeds, ginger garlic paste, turmeric and when they splutter add the onions and let them fry well.
- Add cabbage to it and fry it nicely.
- Add Water if required and let it cook well.
- Then add the tomato, mix well.
- Then add jeera-coriander powder and salt to it.
- Leave it, to cook for a while.
- Garnish this with coriander .
