As Sivaji celebrates its 175th day in theatres, Shankar seems to have at long last finalized the star for his next project.

Shankar, known for his megabudget blockbusters, has been yearning to get going with his next movie, Robot. Initially, the lead for the movie was supposed to be Kamal Haasan. But then we heard that Shah Rukh was supposed star in the movie as well as produce it. But a few weeks ago, we heard that King Khan backed out of the project entirely. So just as we wondered if Robot will ever find a hero, we have news that the Ultimate Star has okayed the project.

Ajith, who is absolutely confident about Billa 2007, has promised his fans that henceforth he will make sure every movie he gives is an ace entertainer that will rock the box office. Starting early next year is his next venture which is to be directed by dancer-turned-actor Raju Sundaram. And following that, he will star in Shankar’s Robot, which is bound to be a big movie, given the sci-fi side to the plot.

Shankar has always dazzled us with his movies and they have always fared well at the box office. His teaming up with the Billa of today can only mean one thing – Success!
