Ganguly, the prince of Kolkata…….. Ganguly is known for his courage, aggression, ferocious batting, heated discussion, never bend his back for none. But today Ganguly was subjected under number of stress. In the year 2006 he was not considered by the selectors. Captaincy was pulled from his hand. But Dada kept all the matter aside and came back strongly in the team. He is the highest run scorer in the year 2007 from India. He is continuing his tremendous form in this year also.

But once again, he was not considered by the selectors. I don’t know the reason why they left the mighty Ganguly? This time it is all because of the new captain (Dhoni) who showed his dislike in the presence of old captain (Dada) in his side. He wants the young side to play against mighty Oz. the prince of Kolkata also didn’t showed his anger or come out with any words against this. He keeps on working on his silence.

I don’t want to see this kind of Ganguly.

REUNION- A GRAND SUCCESS.......

January 26^th, India celebrated 59th Republic day. But we (2004 passed out +2 batch) celebrated REUNION. It was a grand success. Initially there were so much of hindrance and controversy regarding venue, food, etc. But finally it all ends in grand success. Frankly speaking this all credit goes to my pal VIMAL RAJ and SWATI. Being an organizer I was not engaged in any of the preparation. I just initiated this and selected the venue. Then Vimal and Swati beautifully handled all the preparation and made that day a grand success.

I didn’t expect such a big crowd. More than 60 of my old friends turned to this occasion. It was really good to see all. First of all I thank everyone who came to this function. To add more flavor to this occasion, girls turned in a large number when compare to guys which I never dreamed. So, special thanks to all gals who made this function more colorful. There were many hilarious moments happened like Dr. Immanuel Pradeep forgot his friend’s name who sat next to him in the class. Then Dinesh Babu shared his love experience with all. Sushmita tried to take snap with 4 cameras, but she didn’t take even one properly. Vivek’s hip dance. Saravanan Drunken dance and many more.

This was first reunion conducted after the completion of our high school. Many showed interest to this. But few didn’t turn to this. Next time, I want all friends to join and should make that day even more fantastic. I once again thank all my friends who came and made this day a grand success.

Why girls are like this?

The topic why I chose this was, I had a very very bitter experience with my own classmates both in the forms of school and college. Ugly moment number one:

This happened to me in one of the public places. This was the first insult I faced because of girls in my life time. Here it goes like this…. On this ugly day, at railway station, I happened to see my old friend who knew me very well (I don’t want to reveal her name). The moment I saw her, I greeted with a pleasant smile, but in turn the response what I got was bad. She didn’t even exchange her smile and behaved strangely as if she didn’t know me.

Ugly moment number two:

This moment would have crossed in all guys life like me. Few well known girls will always chat and SMS so freely and continuously, but the same thing is not repeated when they happen to meet me. IPL (Indian Premier League) and ICL (Indian cricket League) are the two big leagues currently running in India. It’s all started after the early exit of Team India from world cup 07. Kapil Dev’s ICL was first started to give chances to the entire domestic as well as few international players to play the game to achieve exposure of international game. Feedback of ASTHRA:

ASTHRA, IT symposium conducted by Meenakshi Sundarajan Engineering College. A Grand Success Symposium for both me and their college. My college bagged prizes in each event, Third in Paper Presentation, Third in Project. My team won first prize in Ad Zap and third in Quiz.

I went to this college at 10.30 AM, the girls in the registration desk were not willing to register my name, stating that the registration for Ad Zap was already over. Then after conversation for a while, I convinced them somehow and asked them to register for my whole team. But they asked the ID cards of all the members. Other than me no one was there. I called everyone. And all came at 11.30 and we successfully registered.

At 12.30, mega event started. We all rushed to that and stood first. LUNCH……… They provided a decent lunch, we all enjoyed it. Then at 2 o clock Quiz finals started and at 3 o clock Ad Zap finals started. They conducted each and every event in a well organized manner. The Prize amount was amazing. Totally we bagged 4k. On the whole ASTHRA rocks………… Keep Rocking……….

In 2001 Australia under the Captaincy of Steve Waugh had won 16 consecutive test matches, but their winning streak had broken by Team India under the captaincy of Dada. Indian bowlers used the condition well than the Oz bowlers. The big flop in the Oz side is Shaun Tait, the speed machine. He didn’t bowl even one good delivery in both the innings. Both Indian batting and bowling was excellent. Oz cannot stop us from the victory. This will remain as the one of the best victories for Indians in their life time.

Do you think India should continue with Dhoni and Jaffer?

Dhoni and Jaffer both again failed to score the runs. Dhoni, vice captain of team india yet again forget to score the runs. His batting history in overseas is very poor. He not even scored even one half century in this tour.

Is it fair to play with Dhoni? When someone like Dinesh karthick is sitting out. His batting history in overseas is tremendous. He played superb in the both South Africa and England. He also did well in the practice match in the Canberra. Why can’t you pick Karthick instead of Dhoni?

Dhoni is really a coward man. I say the reason. We all know Dhoni, Yuvraj and Jaffer are all in out of form, when we played the practice match in Canberra. In second innings, Jaffer came to bat after the wicket of Sehwag. Then Yuvraj came to bat after the wicket of Jaffer. It’s all well and good. Then why Dhoni didn’t step into the field after the wicket of Yuvraj? Instead he made inform Dravid to bat. Then I thought he might be come to after the wicket of Karthick. But to my surprise Irfan came to bat. He declared the second innings without his presence in batting.

Is he fit to play the test match?

In next match, Team India should drop both the Jaffer and Dhoni. Instead of these, Karthick and Bajji should play the match in Adelaide. Sehwag and Karthick should open the innings.

Third test at perth........

The third test between India and Oz is not only just a match, it is a war between the two countries. After the controversial second match at Sydney, all eyes turned towards this match. Third test is now held at perth, a paradise for pace attack. The Oz are known for their pace attack. In this match they are playing with four seamers. In first innings, India managed to get 320 runs. Indian middle order (sachin and rahul) did the fair job to get that score. Yet again Dhoni and Jaffer failed to impress the crowd. Tail enders only managed to get just below 20 runs. But the Indian medium pacers did their homework well. Irfan, Anil and Ishannt managed to get two wickets each. RP Singh took four wickets. India took oz wickets at regular intervals. Oz managed to get only 212 in their first innings that with help of only one good partnership between Symonds and gillchrist. Both managed to get half century in quick manner. In this match the beauty is the Symonds wicket by Anil. Because this was his 600^th wicket in his test career. Yet another mile stone for jumbo. He will be the role model for our Indian players.

St, Thomas Mount......A Tourist spot in Chennai

Tamilnadu produces number of tourist places. I found out yet another tourist place at Chennai in Tamilnadu.

Last week I and my friend vimal raj went to the St, Thomas mount. We both climbed the mountain, to our surprise we were stunned by the scenic beauty of St, Thomas Mount. No words to describe the beauty of that. St, Thomas Mount is situated in Chennai next to the Air Port. We can see the nice Arial bird’s eye view of Chennai beauty. The tree and plants looks like the green carpet on the mountain. And there is one temporary water reservoir which adds even more beauty to this mountain. The most interesting and amazing thing about this is the good Arial view of Chennai International Airport. We can able to see clearly the runway of the airport where the planes will land ant take off. We can also see the other form of transport medium like railway and roadway. To my knowledge this is the one place, where we can see three forms of transport such as railway, roadway and airway clearly. There also some very old mughal buildings, church, etc. There we can also find one radio station.

So on the whole, St, Thomas Mount has all the eligibility to emerge as a tourist place. At last I and my friend vimal had found out a cool tourist spot in Chennai. So if you come to Chennai do visit this place and enjoy yourself. I suggest the Tamilnadu Government to consider the St, Thomas Mount as a picnic spot. Hi!! In this post I want to raise few things about the most important aspect of once life, EDUCATION.
Is the present academics pattern worth enough?
Do you learn anything through this type of academics pattern?
These are all the questions I want to ask you all.

I am doing my engineering in computer science. Right now I am in final year. In these 3 years ,my syllabus had covered C, C++, Java, Oracle, .Net, VB, VC++, Networks, OS, Cryptography, System software, Microprocessor, Artificial Intelligence and few more in computer line. And I also studied other major subjects like Electrical and Control systems (EEE), Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics (MECHANICAL), DSP and ADC (ECE), etc. I don’t know in what way it is going to help me if I studied the other department’s subject. It is utter stupidity to waste time by studying this subject. Any way I am going to forget all those things after this subject’s exam finishes. Why they are forcing to do so? If I ask my staff about this, they replied me that “an engineer should be aware of every thing”. But I don’t agree with them. Do you?

As I said above, I finished C, C++, Java, Oracle, .Net, VB, VC++, Networks, OS, Cryptography, System software, Microprocessor, Artificial Intelligence and few more in computer line.

Do you think I learn all this properly?
If you want to know the answer, the answer is Nope……

I hardly had 80 days in odd semester and 50 days in even semester. Then how can one finish all those things in this small time span? So I didn’t learn anything properly including my department’s subject and the others. Instead of forcing to study all those subjects, if one study a particular subject of his own interest on and on, he can understand everything and can do research on that.

So in this post I want to ask few questions,
1. Is the current educational pattern fair enough?
2. Do you think one can learn properly by having this kind of pattern?
3. Is it necessary to have other department’s subject?

Jalli kattu, the famous ancient sporting event till exist in tamilnadu is gonna exit from this year onwards.

The wild life saving board had submitted a petition to ban this game for torturing the bull.

Jalli kattu, sport of bravery is famous in most part of Madhurai especially in Alankanallur. In this event, the bull owner will train the bull, such that it will trash everyone who will come in its way. The money bag or gold chain will be tied around the bull’s neck and then it will be subjected under all sorts of tortures like biting its tail, made noises using instruments like tharai thambatai, giving some drugs which will kindle large amount of anger and it will be free for the race. The young men will try to catch the bull and try to control it. Some lucky will get those money bags, gold chain but some unlucky guys will lose their life. Some lucky guys will even get the daughter of bull owner as the reward. The people from all over the world will turn to madhurai for this mega sport event. But Supreme Court ordered not to conduct this sport event this time. It is banned due to the tortures given to the bulls and lots of young men also losing their life.

Is it fair to ban this 400 years old sport event?

BSNL Broadband and its trouble.........

In this post I want to share my experience of using BSNL broadband.

Last December I got the BSNL broadband connection, Home500 plan (2 Mbps). I thought BSNL is better than all other services available like AIRTEL, RELIANCE, TATA INDICOM, SIFY, etc. But I think it was wrong.

Till now I didn’t get my password to check the account usage. It is very hard to use without having knowledge of usage history. If I extended my free limit, I am supposed to pay 1 Rs for 1MB usage. So it is really very hard to use freely. Then server will down once in a week otherwise the google related sites will be blocked for couple of days. If I complaint to my local exchange, they are not all responding well. And the downloading is very bad. The average downloading speed is 30 Kbps and the topmost downloading speed is 120 Kbps. It just looks similar to the dialup connection, sometimes even worse than this.

I want to raise you few question.

Australia played with 13 members,added mark benson and steve bucknor to their team. yeh sorry 14 members, i left out the honorable third umpire. what a decent match it was. A nice way to enter into the new year. BCCI should handle this matter seriously and has to teach a nice lesson to them. For heaven sake dont ever call the Australian Player as Gentle man, each and every player showed their own character. Symonds, Ponting, Hussey were not interested in walking after they nicked the ball. And clark was standing for a while after a clear edge, Kumble begged the umpire to raise his precious finger.Mark Benson asking clark for clarification regarding Ganguly's take in the second innings. The Umpires refusing to raise their finger for the Australians and refusing to drop their fingers for Indians. And to top all these up... there is a Racial controversy as a "Mind game" !!!The only reason behind is Bhajji took the wicket of Ponting for 8 times.And all these were against India .. I sincerely feel , this Tour does not have any meaning left and India should end this immediately after the 2nd Test ...

MATHRIX - A DISASTER

Hi in this post, I wanna share u about ma experience on first symposium held at Anna University in this New Year. With lots of memories, dedication, confident, joy, I once again entered into Anna University. Because this ma first symposium in this New Year. So I wanted it to make memorable and wanted to start it with a winning style. But right from the beginning something was went wrong one after the other. I was supposed to attend the dumb c event in MATHRIX08 (maths symp). The entry fee was 20 rupees. The prelims started at 3 PM on 4^th jan and finals at 9 AM on 5^th jan. Ma school friend swati registered for ma whole team (6 members) by paying 120 rupees. She informed me to come at 2 PM on 4^th jan sharply. Number of obstacles follows one by one….

• One of team mate vijay was refused to come to prelims for an utter stupid reason. It really hurts me.
• I hope he will not do the same further…. One cannot digest if it was really a valid reason.
• Then I tried three more people to replace him. But all ends in vain.
• Then I planned to do the prelims without him. I board the bus and reached Anna University. Another obstacle came in the form of Heavy rain, I just entered in with ma fellow team mates.
• Ma another team mate samba was in totally out of confident. His negative approach made my confident level down.
• We both finished our prelims in a good manner and returned home.
• Swati asked me to give back her 120 bugs which she paid for us before. I replied her that “will give you, after winning the dumb c ie., from the prize amount.
• We all arrived Anna University on jan 5^th for finals. This time vijay came but rama did the same. It didn’t hurt me as before. The finals were little bit tough. We performed little sluggish manner. But managed to bag both first and second prize
• Ma dream came true. We started this year in a good manner. Again swati asked me that 120 bugs. I made her to wait till valedictory function. We finished finals by 10.30AM and valedictory started at 5.00 PM. But I waited patiently to get the prize amount. In meantime swati took us a mini tour to all corners of Anna University. She said it is compulsory to wear tag inside her campus, comedy here is even the dog inside the univ also wearing the tag. Idhu konjam overa illa????????

• Here comes the most awaited session, the valedictory function. We thought the prize was around 1k bugs at least. But they gave us 5 books “Boost your hiring IQ”. Who asked that? Imagine I had spent totally 120 bugs, so totally ma team spend 500 bugs. Anna university students engala patha ungaluku pavama ilaya? Intha kodumaya kekka yarume illaya?

Super Star in Robo......

Robo Supposed to be Shankar's dream project, expensive, sci-fi film that would take Tamil cinema to the next level. I think the first time I heard about the movie was before Anniyan, as Shankar was looking for a project that would erase memories of the Boys debacle.

Now the big question here is , who is the hero of this project? I think the project was first supposed to star Kamal but then Vikram's name was suggested. The project then moved to Bollywood since it was supposed to be so expensive that it needed a national - rather than a regional - hero to have any chance of making money. Hrithik Roshan was mentioned first but after that, the project seemed finalized as Shah Rukh Khan signed for a dual role - acting and producing. He even talked about it as an upcoming project in one of his pre-Chak De India! interviews. But then it was unceremoniously dropped with the reason being the ever-popular, vague "creative differences". After a few reports about Aamir Khan being approached, news about the film moved south again as the next rumor had Ajith teaming up with Shankar for the film.

Suddenly Shankar has signed on Rajnikanth for Robot. The news item talks about a Mumbai production house backing the film, which would have a higher budget than even Sivaji and would be the most expensive Indian film ever.The story is about "a scientist who creates a robot and later runs into trouble with his pet creation") which doesn't seem like Rajni material at all. Considering Sivaji's success, any film with Shankar and Rajni would likely have mega-expectations and mega-money on it and I don't think either of them will take risk by casting Rajni in a non-traditional role. Rajni himself was supposed to considering scripts from K.S.Ravikumar and Murugadoss for his next film and his doing back-to-back films with Shankar wasn't mentioned at all.None of the other websites have anything on this yet.

So for now, all we can do is wait and watch...

bermudas fight- A real story.........

Hi friends in this post I would like to share ma most horrible thing that happened in ma life. This was happened when I studied +1. I am revealing this to you all because of the tortures made by few friends. The thing is this………

I always wear Bermuda shorts and used to sleep in the floor. Even though I sleep in the middle of the room, I will rotate and come to the corners. This is my habit. One day when I was in +1, I did the same.

It was around 2 AM I think, I was sleeping in ma room at the corner and next to me ma dad and ma brother were sleeping. Suddenly I felt some kasamusa in ma thigh. Initially I didn’t care about it, thought that it was just the dream. But later this kasamusa continued vigorously. Then I realized that some thing was there inside ma Bermuda. I just hold that thing tightly; it was very soft, lengthy. I just started shouting pambu pambu(snake). My dad woke up and asked me to leave that. I refused to do this. I asked ma dad to remove my Bermuda and I didn’t get rid off that snake. I saw the tension on my dad’s face. In meantime ma brother also woke up. I was screaming like anything. Ma mom and ma sister were sleeping in the next room. They also joined this party. Ma mom and brother were ready with big stick for killing that snake. All were waiting for that removal of Bermuda shorts including me. My dad slowly removes the Bermuda and I released that snake. My brother raised his hand to kill this snake, but he didn’t do that. Because all stunned with surprise. The thing is, that was not the snake, it was a medium size rat. It just unknowingly entered into my shorts and didn’t know the way to go out. A great relief to me. My brother didn’t kill that rat because it was already in half died state. Thus boopathi escaped from this incident with some small wounds. From that day onwards I never slept in the corner. This was my most horrible thing happened in my life………….
